Name: Emily Rayne
Age: 16
Year: 6th
House: Ravenclaw
Height: 5'10"
Eye, Hair Color: Soft light blue eyes, and chestnut brown hair that comes down just past shoulder length.
Bloodline: Pureblood
Personality (1-2 paragraphs):
Emily is more often than not a shy girl. She tries to avoid awkward situations and isn't overly outgoing. She isn't timid to the point where she prefers to isolate herself from everyone else however. She is genuinely caring, and would try to help just about anyone who needed it. She is also very trusting, and almost overly trusting at times. Friends are very important to Emily and she will attempt to do what it take to help out a friend. She tries to see the best in others, especially when they can't see it themselves. Although she tries not to be judgmental she finds herself worried about what others think of her.
Background History (1-2 paragraphs):
Her mother (Penelope) is a writer with no real set writing subject. Her writing is so varied in subject, length, and even form of writing. Emily likely got her first interest in reading from her mother's works. Her father went into healing and became a mediwizard. Emily partially picked up her interest in potions from this as well.
Emily is the younger of two children and the only girl. Emily and her older brother, Collin, got along unusually well. They were almost total opposites and had different views on about everything, and managed to get along almost all the time. Her parents were not pleased with there sons performance while he was at Hogwarts. Since finishing at Hogwarts Emily's brother and her parents have said very little to one another. Her parents still disapproved of the way he performed during his schooling and other choices he has made. These events caused her to become less open with her parents over time and at some point during her first few years at Hogwarts, for winter and summer breaks she stayed with her brother and his family rather than with her parents until this became the usual.
Role-Playing Sample (1-2 paragraphs):
Emily was sitting in her potions classroom down in the dungeons listening to the professor rather halfheartedly. She had a true interest in potions but he was simply discussing something Emily had read about once on her own. She jotted down anything she deemed important as he discussed it without even looking down at her parchment, as she didn't feel the need to have perfect notes on something she had some knowledge of already. She gave half of her attention to the professor as she assumed he might have a little more insight on the subject than some textbook she had looked over some years ago.
